Saw it at the museum store for nearly full price.....leafed thru it checked to see if it was at Amazon and had to have it...Great book for art or design history...mbb

You can find it cheaper but it's worth the extra $

I have purchased several Taschen books and now consider them to be a useful resource, as useful as having an old mentor. Everything they put out is thoughtfully presented, beautifully displayed, well researched.
Though you can find Batterham's World of Ornament elsewhere for much less money, you won't be disappointed by this volume, the layout, the size. It is a big purchase that feels like it was worth it. It is in display in my home.

This item is a wonderful world history of artistic design over many centuries. A great book to have if you are looking for a different sources of inspiration in art, design, or whatever interests you. Arrived quickly and in perfection condition.
